THE BODY SHOP | TEA TREE REVIEWS

These have quickly become two of my fave skincare/bodycare products of the moment! I have always loved The Body Shop products but my collection is near to none, I wanted to give these ago because I've always struggled with my skin, one minute it's fine and the next it breaks out like crazy! I've never had acne, I just have very spot prone skin that is very hormonal:( I've tried so many different products for my skin which I know now probably wasn't the best thing for it, and none of them have ever worked so I was skeptical to try these. I read quite a few reviews beforehand and was pleasantly surprised to see so many good ones which definitely made me feel more confident about purchasing them. Tea tree has always been the go to for skin problems so again I thought is this really worth it? Is it going to be just another 'spot clearing face wash' that magics the spots away? But I took the plunge and bought the face wash and body wash as I've heard a lot of reviews on the body wash stating that its super refreshing for the skin and leaves you feeling super freshhh, which is always good!

Skin Clearing Body Wash

They both smell amazing, I really love the smell of tea tree is that just me? It just smells so refreshing and clean?? I used the bodywash in the shower and my whole bathroom just filled with the smell, its such a silky texture that you literally only need a small amount as a little goes a long way! I got out feeling superrrr clean which I don't feel like you get from some other bodywashes, it would definitely be great for gym goers as you feel super fresh and hydrated, great for washing all of that sweat off!

Skin Clearing Facial Wash

This stuff was amazing! Its my new fave facial wash and I don't think I'll be changing any time soon! Again like the bodywash it left my face feeling super fresh, clean and overall just clearer. My spots haven't completely disappeared which I never expected but I can definitely notice a difference and I've been using it for just over 2 weeks so I'm super excited to see if my skin improves over the coming weeks, which I will update you lovelies on! So far I love this and I'm super glad I picked it up!

A FEW OF MY FAVOURITE THINGS

I think I'm a little bit of a sucker when it comes to new products/new releases, I'm always so excited about buying something new and trying it out in hope that it will become the new best thing in my makeup or wash bag. They always make the promotions look so pretty too ughhh!!

So I was intrigued to find out what the new L'Oréal Fine Flowers collection would be like, I mean the packaging is pink so I automatically loved it! It's a face wash that 'cleanses, purifies and softens' which are all things I definitely want for my skin, I rubbed it into my face using some warm water making sure to use circular motions covering my whole face and massaging into drier areas like around my nose and chin. I then rinsed it off with warm water, finishing with a splash of cold water and then patting my face dry with a towel. Straight away I felt that my skin was a lot softer but also felt really clean and refreshed, it doesn't really have a smell to it as I originally thought it would smell of flowers but sadly it doesn't. I applied my usual moisturiser and my skin felt ready for my makeup which I love the feeling of as I hate that grotty, built up feeling you can get with some face washes. I actually used this once in the shower when I still had makeup on to see how well it would work and I came out with near to no makeup on which I was so surprised by!

My moisturiser of choice is my old favourite the Neurtogena oil-free moisturiser that smells like grapefruit. I love the smell of it as it actually smells like what it says on the packaging, again the tube is pink which I love! This moisturiser leaves my skin feeling so soft and smooth, my skin feels replenished and cleansed, it's a great base for my makeup as it's not oily and doesn't leave your skin sticky.

I definitely think there's a pink theme going on here!! One of my best friends kindly gifted me this new lip kit and I'm in just as much love as I was with my other Makeup Revolution lip kit in Noble. This ones called 'Grandee' and it's a light pink almost Barbie pink but not as bright and it looks so good with a dark eye! Let me know which lip kit I should try out next!

CURRENT FAVES

Current faves are back and better than ever! How CUTE are these shoes!! I am so in love with these little block heels and what makes them even more loveable is the fact that they were only £1 in Primark! £1!! I mean I had to! But the colour of them is so pretty, a metallic silver/gunmetal and they look so nice paired with black jeans! Another item from Primark is this pink sparkly top that is so adorable with a thick choker and a dark pink lip, I've just realised I haven't featured a piece of clothing in any of my current faves, which is deffo gotta change! Face masks are life saviors and are the best when you wanna relax and cleanse your skin or before a big night out, the 'Garnier Moisture Bomb Tissue Mask' is my go-to face mask before a night out! It is so refreshing and moisturising, which is perfect before you apply your makeup leaving your skin feeling plump. A body butter which is always a must-have for great feeling skin, my fave being this Soap and Glory one called 'The Righteous Butter', it has the BEST smell ever and softens my skin which I find is especially great before I fake tan! My Current Faves

Glamour Magazine has always been a favourite of mine, but I'm really loving there new design (being the size). As a collector of these magazines for years I've always loved their smaller size because it meant carrying it around in my handbag a lot easier. But just like they state, there's a lot more room now for even more content.

These two pages are just a couple I picked out that I enjoyed reading, the positivity project article is a real good read if you want to think more about making yourself feel happy! Pg..26 through to 29!

Accessories, accessories, accessories...... (need I say more)

The last three products of my current faves are all beauty related, I was in desperate need of a new moisturiser so picked this up in Superdrug whilst it was on offer to give it a go. I love it ! Its a night cream so really leaves your skin feeling nourished and hydrated before you go to bed, I love it so much that I bought the Nivea Daycream/Primer and face wipes! For Christmas I was gifted a benefit beauty kit (by my lovely boyfriend!) and was so excited to try out the products! These two were by far my favourite, the 'They're Real' mascara is amazing and makes my lashes look sooo long and pretty and the 'Hoola' bronzer is equally as good matching my skin tone perfectly!

My Skincare Regime

My skincare regime is pretty simple because I never have time to do anything too fancy in the mornings or evenings due to college or work, but I love feeling really fresh and clean before applying my makeup or before going to bed. These are three of the products I use the most, the Neutrogena spot stress control daily scrub that honestly leaves my skin so soft without drying it out! The 'oil-free' moisturiser smells so nice and makes my skin feel so smooth and is the perfect base for my foundation. My fave body moisturiser at the moment is definitely this Body Shop Body Butter in the scent orange, it smells so goood!
